Let’s get ready for your North Dakota DOT Permit Test

This North Dakota DOT practice exam comprises 40 questions from the official 2022 ND Driver Handbook. To get your license in North Dakota, you must pass a written test. To pass the written exam, you must properly answer at least 20 out of 25 multiple-choice questions. With a completed driver education course, a 14 or 15-year-old may take the written test and then keep their permit for one year before applying for a license. If you’re between 16 and 18, your permission is valid for six months. You may take the written exam at your local DOT office. If you’re under 18, bring evidence of residency and a $5 testing charge. You’ll also need to have an eye checkup. When you’re ready, there’s a $5 road test cost. If you don’t pass your written exam on the first attempt, you may retry the following day. Use this DOT practice test to prepare and pass your knowledge exam.
