How do I get driver’s permit in Vermont?

In Vermont, you must be a minimum of 16 years old to apply for a Drivers License. If you are under 18 years of age and you have never had a driver’s license before, you must apply for a learner’s permit. To do this, you must pass a written test on safe driving techniques, traffic signs and motor vehicle laws as well as a vision screening.

After you get the learner’s permit, you must pass a road test to get your junior operator’s license in Vermont. If you are under the age of 18, before taking the road test, you must prove that you have completed 40 hours of supervised driving, 10 of which are at night and hold a learner’s permit for one year.

How do I prepare for the Vermont permit test?
