Let’s get ready for your West Virginia DMV Permit Test

This West Virginia DMV practice exam has been updated for 2022 and includes 25 questions from the official WV Driver Handbook. To acquire a West Virginia instruction, permit or license, you must score 76 percent on a knowledge exam based on the 2022 West Virginia Driver’s Licensing Handbook. To pass the exam, you must properly answer 19 out of 25 multiple-choice questions. To receive your teaching permit, you must pass a vision exam as well as a knowledge test. If you are under the age of 18, you must complete WV’s Graduated Driver’s License (GDL) program. Prepare well before going to the DMV to take your knowledge exam and begin the GDL procedure. If your instruction permission expires, you must repeat the vision and knowledge examinations. A level one GDL training permit or level two intermediate driver’s license costs $7.50. An instruction permits for drivers over 18 costs $7.50. This DMV practice test contains the same number of questions and passing score as the actual exam to help you prepare.
