In California, a Class C driver license allows someone to legally operate a housecar (RV) less than 40 feet in length, a three-wheeled motorcycle, a vanpool vehicle designed to transport between 10 and 15 people, a two-axle vehicle weighing less than 26,000 pounds, or a three-axle vehicle weighing less than 6,000 pounds.
