If you hold a provisional driver license, you may drive unsupervised at 300 a.m. if you are
- driving because of a medical emergency.
- driving to or from work.
- driving to or from school.
Normally, if you hold a provisional driver license, you may not drive unsupervised between midnight and 5:00 a.m. However, there are several exceptions. During these hours, you may drive unsupervised to or from a religious activity, to or from school, to or from work, or because of family necessity or a medical emergency.
