Unless a "No Turn on Red" sign is posted, you may turn left on a red light from either a one-way or a two-way street onto a one-way street. However, you must first come to a complete stop and then yield to pedestrians and approaching vehicles before you turn. (Note: The laws on this are different in many other states. Many states prohibit left turns on red from a two-way street onto a one-way street. Still other states prohibit left turns on red altogether. When traveling out of Washington State, always check the local traffic laws.)
