Vehicles approaching a roundabout must
- come to a complete stop and wait for traffic in the roundabout to clear.
- enter the roundabout at a speed of 35 mph.
- enter the roundabout to the left of the central island.
A roundabout is a circular intersection in which traffic circulates counterclockwise around a central island. Approaching vehicles must yield the right-of-way to the traffic already in the roundabout. Always enter the roundabout, heading to the right (counterclockwise around the central island).
