Let’s get ready for your New Hampshire DMV Permit Test

This New Hampshire DMV practice exam has been updated for 2022 and includes 20 questions from the official 2022 NH Driver Handbook. A timed written knowledge exam is required in New Hampshire to get a driver’s license. The 40-question multiple-choice exam takes 40 minutes. If you miss more than 10 questions or go over your time limit without answering 32 properly, you fail the test and must repeat it in 10 days. Because New Hampshire does not issue learner’s licenses, all prospective drivers must be at least 16 and finish a 40-hour driving education course if under 18. You must also pass a vision test, give evidence of identification, parental authorization if under 18, proof of domicile if over 18, a record of behind-the-wheel practice hours if under 18, and pay a $50 license cost. A driving test may be scheduled after the vision and knowledge assessments. It will help you prepare for the DMV written exam.
