Let’s get ready for your New Mexico MVD Permit Test

This New Mexico MVD practice exam has been updated for 2022 and includes 40 questions from the official 2022 NM Driver Handbook. The written driver’s knowledge exam in New Mexico requires 18 right answers out of 25. You may get your learner’s permit at 15, but you must take a driving education course or a “None for the Road” DWI program if you’re under 18. To get an instructional permit, you need to pass an eye test, submit evidence of identification and social security number, two proofs of domicile, parental agreement for children, and pay a $10 charge. Underage drivers must first get an instructional permit for six months before taking a road test and applying for a temporary license, which costs an extra $18 and must be kept for 12 months before advancing to a full license, which costs an additional $18-34. This MVD practice exam offers questions extremely comparable to the actual written test.
