Don’t be a tailgating turtle! It’s never a good idea to follow too closely behind the car in front of you. You need some space to breathe and wiggle, so make sure to keep at least 3 seconds of space between you and the vehicle ahead. And if the weather is bad or you’re hauling something, you’ll need even more room to maneuver.
