This Kansas DMV practice exam has been updated for 2022 and includes 40 questions from the official 2022 KS Driver Handbook. Permit or license to drive in Kansas requires passing a written test based on the Kansas Driving Handbook. In other words, the DMV permit test is also called the driving test, DMV written exam, or just the driver’s test. The test has 25 multiple-choice questions, with a passing score of 20. A learner’s permit is available to those aged 14 and above. You may get a limited license at 15 and a normal license at 16. You may be eligible for a farm permit if you are 14 or 16 years old and work on a farm. All of these permits and licenses require passing a vision test and a written exam covering subjects including Kansas traffic regulations, vehicle legislation, and driving safety. Permit fees are $2 + $8 for photos. The usual class C license price is $20 for underage drivers and $12 for overage drivers. You must also pay a $8 picture charge and a $3 testing cost.
