This Washington DOL practice exam comprises 25 questions from the official 2022 WA Driver Handbook. If you are 15 or older and want to receive your WA driver’s license, you must pass a knowledge exam and a vision test, as well as pay a minor testing cost. The DOL written exam will include road signs, traffic rules, and safe driving practices. Your test will include 40 questions, and you must properly answer 32 of them to pass and get your permit. What is the age requirement for a Washington driver's license or a learner's permit?
To get a learner's permit, you must have completed a traffic safety course at the age of 15. Without a driver's safety course, you must be at least 15 12 before you may receive a learner's permit. Before you can get a driver's license, you must be at least 16 years old.
How many hours of driver education are required for applicants who are 15 years old?

How can I practice driving with my learner's permit?
You may only drive with a WA permit if you are accompanied by a licensed driver who has had a valid driver's license for a minimum of five years. A minimum of 50 hours of driving practice is required (including 10 hours at night).
How can I pass the knowledge test in Washington?
Forty questions are included in the state's driver's license exam. To get a passing grade, you must properly answer at least 32 of them.
