To do this you must pass a vision screening test and a written exam on safe driving techniques, traffic signs and motor vehicle laws.

When you get the learner’s permit, you must then pass the driving skills test to get a driver’s license.

If you are under the age of 18, you must pass an approved driver education course as well as 40 hours of supervised driving, 10 of which are at night, before you can take the driving skills test. You must also hold a learner’s permit for at least 6 months.
